Our Families & Warriors are Our Why!
Living in a small town can provide many challenges and barriers with care and support for children with chronic illness, cancer, and disabilities.
Families often have to drive 2+ hours for care and therapies.
It is often recommended to families to move for services.
We have limited resources.
When a child is diagnosed with cancer in our area, families must up root to Seattle where they spend months to over a year so their child can receive their treatment
Often times there are long waitlists for our children to receive therapies locally such as Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physical therapy, Applied Behavior Analysis, etc.
The Brave Warrior Project has helped eliminate those barriers by developing programs and providing opportunities for our kids and families.
