Lauren Mathison
Behavior Training Coordinator

My name is Lauren Mathison, I have been volunteering at The Brave Warrior Project since 2021 and joined the staff as a Behavior Training Specialist in November of 2023. I am proud to work alongside a team that is caring, compassionate and eager to learn. I am married to an amazing husband, and have three teenage boys. All three of our boys love sports, so on the weekends you can find us in the stands, on the bleachers or at the field.

At a young age I lived next door to a child affected by autism. My childhood involved learning from his therapists employed by the Lovaas Center and UCLA’s Neuropsychiatric Department and Research Center. I was privileged to watch  and learn  at a young age

from world renown leaders in autism research as they provided Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) sessions. Throughout High School, under the supervision provided by the Lovvas Center, I worked with several families as an ABA therapist.

I have always had a passion for behavior and learning. I received my B.S. in Psychology at Pacific Lutheran University and my Masters in Psychology at Phillips Institute in Los Angeles. I was employed by the Autism Partnership in Los Angeles. It is my dream and pleasure to be a part of  The Brave Warrior Project's vision to meet the needs of individuals and families impacted by special needs and chronic illness.

Christie Van Lith

Program Support Specialist

I was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley. I have been married for 23 years and have 3 children. I have served our community by being an in home day care provider for over 17 years. After closing that chapter I decided I still wanted to provide care for others and what better way than to be at The Brave Warrior Project. I have volunteered at some of the fundraisers over the years before started to work at The Brave Warrior Project in 2022.

When I am not at The Brave Warrior Project you will find me camping, boating and spending time with my family.

Kent Williams

He was so excited to join The Brave Warrior Project in 2023 and be able to help provide the care to differently abled people and their families.

In his spare time Kent likes to spend time with his family, learning to cook, and be an armchair sports enthusiast.
