We are excited to announce our annual Shine A Light Auction fundraising event which will be held at Ohme Gardens on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

This annual fundraising event gives you the opportunity to hear stories about the inspiring work we do for children and adults with disabilities and life-limiting medical conditions along with their families.

Check-in begins at 5 p.m. followed by the event presentation and live auction.

Join Recreational Therapist Hannah at River Front Rock Gym for an Adaptive Rock climbing event.

Your child will practice climbing by playing games, learning skills, and communicating. Sessions will be 1 hour long with a 1:2 staff to participant ratio with trained Staff/volunteers.

Parents are invited to watch their children or hang out in the cafe but must stay on-site for the entirety of the program.

Cost: $18.16

Join us on Zoom and learn about Special Olympics! They will answer questions such as: What sports do you have? How do I sign up?

They are ready to answer your questions too!

This is a new program is an opportunity to get exercise and have fun with friends! The first sport we will be focusing on is basketball. Each participant will be paired up with a buddy to practice their basketball skills!

Each session will be broken up into 6 weeks.

Dress up in your favorite superhero costume and join us at Riverfront Park 2 5th St. Wenatchee where we will walk, run, or roll to help bring awareness and raise critical funds that will allow BWP to continue eliminate barriers for Children with Cancer, chronic illness, and disability.  

Now through May we will be creating teams and champions to raise funds that allow us to continue meeting our mission and serving our most vulnerable individuals.

Join us at our Center for a fun filled hour of art and play time! Your child will be able to take home their masterpiece. Ms. Amelia will provide all supplies. Children will have access to play in our fun filled center!
